3 Tips for Taking CBD Oil

The FDA has not evaluated whether CBD is effective to treat these claims. In addition, they have not determined what the proper dosage is, how they could interact with other drugs or foods, or whether they have dangerous side effects or other safety concerns. Read the FDA Consumer Report on CBD.

Whether struggling with sleep, pain and inflammation or stress and anxiety, a high-quality CBD oil may be a helpful tool in feeling your best.

To really leverage the benefits of cannabidiol (CBD) and the other natural compounds found in the hemp plant, focus on these three things:

1. Track amount and time of day taken. Some people take twice per day, others in small amounts throughout the day. Try taking a total of 20-40 milligrams per day to start. Note: 1/2 dropper of P’ri 1200 mg CBD = 20 milligrams CBD

2. Tune in to your body, and rate how you feel. Rate your level of stress, anxiety or pain 20 minutes after taking P’ri (or level of sleeping difficulty the following morning if taking primarily for the sleep benefit) on a scale of 1 to 4.

1 =  no symptoms    2 = mild symptoms    3 = moderate symptoms   4 = severe symptoms

3. Tweak to find the dosage that helps you achieve peace, rest and relief. Take more or less oil, based on what you notice. Adjust by a quarter-dropper (10 mg).

Consistency is key. Think of your CBD oil as a vitamin, not an aspirin. It may take several weeks of consistent use for some people to notice its effects.
